Yoga has brought tremendous peace and joy to my life.
I believe in the power of peace and unity, they are ideals that I hold close to my heart. They are also the two things I believe our world needs a little more of.
I’m here to tell you we all have the capacity to live a peaceful and joyful life.
On the yoga mat, we’re able to quiet the world around us and tune into ourselves. There’s joy in not worrying about all the things that seem to be “wrong” in the world. It’s empowering to focus instead on what’s right in your world.
For me, there’s nothing better than taking time for ourselves - to breathe, bend and harness the power we have inside. That’s the place where we cultivate our connection to self and enjoy momentary beauty that makes this life a joyous one.
My teaching style is accessible so that you can find the practice that’s right for your body. I’m here to lead you into the steps to access the power of yoga that’s right for you. When you choose to join me on the mat, you’ll feel connected and in tune with yourself and finish with a feeling of peace, contentment and accomplishment.
I’m available for:
- Private sessions
- Group sessions
- Corporate yoga classes
I’d love to connect with you about your interest in yoga and the ways in which I can make the kind of practice you desire accessible.
PROPER YOGA BIO
Like a lot of people, Cassandra, RYT-200, first stepped onto the mat seeking a workout. It wasn’t until a few years later, after moving to Richmond, VA, that she realized how deeply she enjoyed the practice of yoga. While living in Richmond she began practicing consistently and discovered the many ways yoga helped build strength in both body and mind.
Feeling called to deepened her practice and teach others, Cassandra joined Om On Yoga’s Teacher Training program in the fall of 2015. She trained under Jonathan Miles, Kelly Kostecki, Jane Bahneman and Hillary Spruell. During her time in teacher training, Cassandra learned the depth of yoga practice, ultimately finding her mission of helping others discover peace through the power of yoga.
Cassandra’s teaching style is best described as accessible and light-hearted. Her classes are sprinkled with smiles and the ability to arrive in the present moment through breath work.
